These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of TextFixer, including our Android app, web application, and browser extensions (collectively, the "Service"). By using TextFixer, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Service Description

TextFixer provides AI-powered text correction across multiple platforms including Android devices, web browsers, and desktop computers.

The Service uses OpenAI models to process and correct your text. Text is processed on our servers but is not stored after corrections are delivered. The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of perfect accuracy or suitability for any particular purpose.

2. User Eligibility and Responsibilities

By using TextFixer, you represent that you are at least 18 years of age or have obtained parental or guardian consent.

You agree to:

• Use the Service only for lawful purposes and in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
• Maintain the confidentiality of your account credentials and password
• Accept full responsibility for all activity on your account
• Not use the Service to harass, abuse, or threaten others
• Not attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or discover the source code of TextFixer
• Not scrape, crawl, or use automated tools to access the Service
• Not sell, resell, or provide commercial access to TextFixer without explicit authorization
• Not use the Service in any way that violates these Terms

3. Text Processing and Privacy

When you use TextFixer:

• Your text is processed on our servers to deliver corrections and suggestions
• We do not store or retain your text after processing is complete
• We do not use your text to train, fine-tune, or improve our models
• We do not share your text with third parties
• We collect only usage metrics (number of corrections, languages used, subscription tier, and your email address)
• We do not collect your name, location, phone number, or other personal information
• You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time

4. Subscription, Billing, and Refunds

Subscriptions to TextFixer are recurring and automatic. Payment is processed through Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis.

• You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings
• Price changes will be announced 30 days in advance
• Failed payments may result in service suspension after a grace period
• Refunds and cancellation policies are available in your account settings

5. Limitation of Liability and Disclaimer

TextFixer is not responsible for:

• Incorrect corrections or inaccuracies in AI-generated suggestions
• Service downtime, interruptions, or data loss
• Any financial, professional, or personal losses resulting from using the Service's output
• Loss of data, revenue, or opportunity caused by service unavailability
• Issues with third-party services or integrations

You use TextFixer at your own risk. The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. TextFixer does not warrant that the Service will be error-free, uninterrupted, or fit for any particular purpose.

Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months prior to the claim. Some jurisdictions do not permit limitation of liability, so this provision may not apply to you.

6. Intellectual Property

TextFixer and all associated software, designs, logos, and features are owned by TextFixer and protected by copyright and intellectual property laws.

You retain all rights to your original content. By using TextFixer, you grant us the limited right to process your text solely to deliver the Service.

7. Termination and Account Suspension

TextFixer reserves the right to:

• Terminate your account if you violate these Terms
• Suspend access to the Service for abuse, non-payment, or other breaches
• Remove content that violates these Terms or applicable law

You may delete your account at any time. Termination does not entitle you to a refund of unused subscription fees.

8. Service Modifications and Discontinuation

TextFixer may modify, update, or discontinue features or the Service at any time. We will provide 30 days' notice before discontinuing the entire Service. Major changes to pricing or privacy practices will include longer notice periods.

9. Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Kingdom, without regard to conflict of laws principles.

Any dispute arising from these Terms shall be resolved through binding arbitration or small claims court, at your option. You agree to waive the right to participate in class action lawsuits or class arbitrations.

10. Changes to These Terms

TextFixer may update these Terms at any time. Your continued use of the Service after updates constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. We will notify you of material changes via email.

11. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any illegal, fraudulent, or harmful purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
• Use the Service to violate third-party rights
• Attempt to bypass payment, usage limits, or security features
• Use the Service for commercial purposes without authorization
